Classification Decision Support That Runs Where You Work

Real-time, sentence-level classification with traceable citations to the governing SCG. Air-gapped. On-premises. No data leaves the network.

[ THE PROBLEM ]

The Problem You Already Know

Cleared analysts spend one to three hours classifying a single document. They cross-reference SCGs manually, marking each paragraph against provisions they have to find themselves. When they are unsure, they overclassify, because nobody wants to be the person who got it wrong.

The overclassification rate across the IC runs between 50 and 90 percent. That is not a documentation problem. It is an information-flow problem. Documents that should move get locked at a higher level than warranted, and the people who need the information do not get it.

The tooling did not exist. Not because the problem was hard to see, but because building software for air-gapped classified environments is genuinely difficult and the commercial market is small enough that nobody bothered.

[ CLASSIFICATION FLOW ]

How Cadmus Classifies a Document

    01

    Write

The analyst writes or pastes content into the Cadmus workspace, a standard document editor with classification awareness built in.

    02

    Classify

Cadmus classifies each sentence in real time against the governing SCG. Every classification decision maps to a specific SCG provision, EO 13526 reason, and dissemination control.

    03

    Review

The analyst reviews each citation. Cadmus suggests; the analyst decides. If the analyst disagrees, they override the classification. Every override is captured in the audit trail.

    04

    Export

The document exports with a complete classification marking, full audit log, and pre-validated cross-domain transfer readiness for CDS pipeline integration.

[ CAPABILITIES ]

What Cadmus Does

Real-Time Sentence-Level Classification

Cadmus classifies each sentence as it is written. No batch processing, no waiting.

Traceable Policy Citations

Every classification decision links to the specific SCG provision, EO 13526 reason, and dissemination control.

Caveat Tagging with Override Controls

NOFORN, REL TO, ORCON, and other caveats are applied automatically and can be overridden by the analyst.

Admin-Managed Classification Source Profiles

Administrators configure SCG libraries at the division level. Source profiles determine which guides Cadmus references.

Cross-Domain Transfer Pre-Validation

Cadmus pre-validates documents for air-gap transfers before they reach the CDS pipeline.

Admin-Controlled LLMs with Full Audit Logging

Language models run entirely within the deployment boundary. Every query and response is logged.

Ask Cadmus

A natural-language chat interface for classification guidance with cite-backed answers from active source profiles.

Color-Coded Sensitivity Display

Red for SECRET, yellow for TOP SECRET, green for UNCLASSIFIED. Visual clarity at a glance.

Confidence Scoring

Each classification decision includes a confidence score. Low-confidence classifications are flagged for closer review.

[ DEPLOYMENT ]

Does It Run on JWICS?

Yes. Cadmus deploys air-gapped, on-premises inside JWICS, SIPR, and SCIF-local environments. No cloud. No internet. No outbound calls. No data leaves the network.

01

Air-Gapped

No internet connection required. Cadmus operates entirely within your network boundary.

02

On-Premises

Deploys on your hardware, inside your environment. JWICS, SIPR, and SCIF-local.

03

No Data Leaves

Zero outbound calls. No telemetry, no cloud sync, no external dependencies.

[ COMPLIANCE ]

What We Claim and What We Do Not

Cadmus is built toward ATO readiness. The codebase aligns with RMF requirements, and the architecture supports the control sets necessary for accreditation.

We do not claim to hold an ATO. We do not claim FedRAMP authorization. Authorization depends on the sponsoring agency’s Authorizing Official, the specific environment, and continuous monitoring requirements. Any vendor who promises you an ATO is selling you something they do not control.
